Mumbai, Jul 1: The man suspected to be involved with the rape and murder of three girls in Kurla has been arrested, informed police on Thursday, Jul 1.

Rajnish Seth, Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order ) said that Javed Ahmed Shaikh has been arrested in connection with the rape and murder of three minor girls in Nehru Nagar in suburban Kurla.

The person was remanded to police custody for two weeks, after he was produced before the Vikhroli metropolitan magistrate on Thursday, Jul 1. Court has also ordered police to take Javed's DNA and blood samples.

The case in which Javed is involved, had created much fear among the residents of area. The body of a five-year-old girl was found in a drain in Nehru Nagar on Feb 9, 2010. On Mar 7, a nine-year-old girl was found raped and murdered on the terrace of a building in the Nehru Nagar police quarters. Another eight-year-old girl was found dead from a dilapidated building in the same area.

The city police had formed a special team under two joint commissioners of police to investigate the case in Jun 2010, after receiving a lot of complaints about the shoddy investigation.

Woman flashes for peace and quiet

A Canadian woman is to escape charges after flashing her breasts at a five-year-old boy to settle a noise dispute.

Marika De Florio said the boy was driving her mad by driving a loud all-terrain vehicle past her house, the Toronto Sun reported.

She decided to go topless in the street so the boy's grandparents would be forced to call him inside.

The raunchy tactic did the trick but horrified Mike and Nancy Berry called the police in Seeley's Bay, Ontario, to report her.

"I'm not happy with what has been going on," Mr Berry said. "It isn't right to go around topless in front of kids."

Ms De Florio, 56, said her unusual tactic was a last resort after police ignored her complaints about the "maddening" noise.

"I'm going mental," she told the Toronto Sun. "I can't breathe and I'm not moving, but I need some peace.

"I can't believe I did this, but they pulled the kid inside and then called police because of their small town mentality."

Police said that Ms De Florio was not doing anything illegal as Canadian law permits women to go topless in public.

A fire burns within my soul,
from the ashes and cinder, my heart to rise,
restless the flames that dance and spark,
the white smoke, flowing up into the nightâ€s moonlit skies.
Thoughts ignited in the patterns,
the embers within, glowing bright
I watch with flickering eyes,
as gentle rains of tears release, comfort to regain my sight.
A drumbeat of song,
droplets upon leaves, quenched desire,
as I continue to burn from within my soul,
a slow-moving fire.
Restless the flames that dance and spark,
from the ashes and cinder, my heart to rise.
A fire that burns within my soul,
the white smoke, flowing, dancing up to the moonlight
circling the bright light, flickering before my eyes.
