Gordon Brown blocked from visiting Aung San Suu Kyi by Burma dictators

GORDON Brown has been blocked from visiting political reformer Aung San Suu Kyi.
Burma’s ruling military junta turned down the former PM’s visa application – the second time it has done so.
Mr Brown said yesterday: “They denied me a visa to meet the greatest fighter for democracy of a generation.”
Nobel Prize winner Mrs Suu Kyi, 65, was released from 20 years’ house arrest in November, but is still banned from politics after an election win in 1990.
