Peeping Tom arrested for taking nude pictures of teen
CHENNAI: An interior decorator was caught taking nude pictures of an 18-year-old woman on his cell phone while she was bathing in her house in KK Nagar on Friday evening. According to police, A Asha (name changed) (18), the victim, and P Saravanan, the accused were tenants in a row of houses in KK Nagar.
"The man, an interior decorator, would use the toilet adjacent to the bathroom Asha used every day. He concealed his cell phone in the partition wall between the two bathrooms and recorded the victim taking bath," said a police officer.
Last Friday, Asha suspected something was wrong when she again saw Saravanan following her to the bathroom. She peeped through a small slit in the partition wall and, to her horror, found a cell phone camera. The woman informed her father and neighbours, who later caught hold of the youth. He was handed over to the MGR Nagar police.
Saravanan has been remanded to judicial custody and sent to Puzhal prison.
