India News --- President Obama's visit to India.

The school that Obama will visit

Mumbai:  Thirteen-year-old Mamata Chauhan has no particular claim to fame. Yet.

On Sunday, she and 19 other students of Holy Name High School in Mumbai will meet US President Barack Obama.Though these 20-odd students are happy, others are jealous.

Serendipity may have played a big role in this private school being selected for Obama - it is just a two minute drive from the Taj Hotel, where Obama will stay. But the students are determined not to leave anything else to chance.

During the 15 minutes that he will spend here on Sunday morning, the students will perform traditional dances and showcase some of their environmental projects, including the one on global warming. The US President will sit for the performance, but may not address the students. They students will not be able to interact with Obama, but if given chance Mamata would like to ask Obama about his life. "Mr Obama's life has been a difficult one, full of struggles. I would like to ask him what is his success mantra," she said.

"He may have seen a lot of salsa or western dances but we will show him a typical bharat natyam performance," says a young lady.

The US Secret Services have been visiting the school - the latest being this morning - to check for the security measures being taken. ( ndtv)
