New Delhi: Civil Nuclear Cooperation to top the agenda when French President Nicolas Sarkozy meets Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday.
It's day 2 of French President Sarkozy's high profile maiden visit to India. The French President will be in Delhi on Sunday to meet the Prime Minister at 7 Race Course road.
Sarkozy's visit was off to a positive start on Saturday, when he visited Bangalore and backed India's bid for a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) seat and slammed Pakistan calling it the main source of instability.
French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni on Saturday got a splendid view of the Taj Mahal, which they visited in the evening.
Meanwhile, thousands including MLAs protested in Jaitapur where a nuclear plant will be built with French help. The protestors, mainly fishermen and farmers in the area demonstrated as they would have to be moved to make way for the 9,900-megawatt plant.
