An ATM that dispenses milk and curd
Milma installed Any-Time Milk-vending Machines (ATMs) as a pilot project in the city to provide milk to its customers.
The first of its kind ATMs in the state will be installed in five selected residential locales in the city after entering into a discussion with the residents associations.
The machines have been installed on a trial basis and steps would be taken to cover all residential areas after evaluating the success of the trial project.
The machine, costing around Rs one lakh, will be given to the residents association at 25 percent discount, which would give milk and curd packets round-the-clock at the market price.

The interested customers will be given an electronic smart card for using the ATMs and it can be recharged for further usage.
One of the unique system in this machine is equipped with is the SMS alert directly linked with the packaging or supplying unit for fulfilling the required stock as it gets to an end.
