News Desk: Breaking News! The inevitable has finally happened. Lyricist Prasoon Joshi has revealed that AR Rahman’s Commonwealth Games theme song 'Oh yaaro, yeh India bula liya' has been tweaked so that it becomes more "peppy, shorter and tighter".

He said AR Rahman always tries to improvise his work by adding layers and that is what he has done. He also said “"He has added more layers to it and more folk instruments. It has become more peppy, shorter and tighter now.

A video on the revised CWG Theme song will be released within a week, featuring sports stars and sports achievements of India.

The previous version of theme song ‘Oh yaaro, yeh India bula liya’ failed to impress the sports lovers in India. The CWG theme song received more brickbats than bouquets.

Sports Minister M.S. Gill had said that many members of the Group of Ministers (GoM) were not happy with the theme song.

Now let’s see if people like the song after getting tweaked again. Rahman took six months to compose the CWGtheme song and was paid Rs 5 crore as remuneration.
