Arjun Munda to be sworn-in as

News Desk: Breaking News! Senior BJP leader and former Jharkhand CM Arjun Munda will be sworn-in as the new Chief Minister of Jharkhand on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 11.

Jharkhand Governor MOH Farook has invited Arjun Munda to form the government in the state after going through the list of 45 MLAs submitted by him. Munda will be sworn-in as the CM for the third time.

Earlier, the Union Cabinet had recommended the revocation of President's Rule in Jharkhand based on the report of the Governor. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 11 AM in Raj Bhavan, Ranchi.

Arjun Munda will have to prove his majority on the floor of the assembly within seven days from the date of oath-taking. Arjun Munda has the support of BJP (18 MLAs), JMM (18 MLAs), JD (U) - 2, AJSU (5) and two Independent MLAs Chamra Linda and Bidesh Singh.
