A dentist places camera in potpourri to see women undressing

Potpourri makes news but after reading this keyword, one gets confused as to what is it all about and why this keyword has been making waves on the search engines across the globe? Well, guys, potpourri is in news due to a voyeurism matter that a dentist was doing by hiding a pen shaped camera in a potpourri bowl at the back of the toilet and at various other locations to film the women changing clothes.
This is what happened that 32 years old Warren Gater, who is a dentist, used a James Bond style pen camera to film the ladies undressing. He used to film the undressing of the two ladies and then upload the files to his computer to later enjoy the nakedness of the women to satisfy his thirst for sex. This all was heard by the General Dental Council in London. s
His mission was going on successfully until one of his victims saw him acting strangely with his jacket, she later discovered the camera placed in a position to capture the undressing in his jacket.
In March, Gater of Gillingham was convicted of voyeurism at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court. Gater admitted before the court that he filmed the women undressing four or five times. He got handed a three years conditional discharge.
He was found guilty on Thursday and got suspended from the register for nine months. Gater left his dentist practice after his arrest and has not worked since then.
Nimi Bruce, where he has been an assistant dentist at her Dorsit practice for last seven years, told the court that Gater hid the camera in various hidden locations i.e. in a changing room and toilet etc. She further clarified that he hid the camera in a bookshelf overlooking the area where they got changed, in a potpourri bowl at the back of the toilet and inside her jacket that was hung nearby the changing place.
Gater says in his defense, “Initially it was just a case of “Can I play spy? Can I get the secret footage? Can I do it without getting caught?”
Stewart Goulding, the chairman of the panel expresses, “Your actions were premeditated and repeated for your own sexual gratification and the committee considers that this is a gross breach of the trust placed in you as a dentist.”
