Flood victim burns to death outside PM's home

A Pakistani flood victim has committed suicide by setting himself on fire in front of the prime minister's house.
Muhammad Akram reportedly lost his house in the flood disaster and went to prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani's family home to ask for help finding work.
In front of scores of people, the 30-year-old father of five doused himself in petrol and lit himself with a match.
The prime minister was not there at the time of the incident but expressed deep sorrow and promised the family compensation.
The government's sluggish response to the flood crisis has provoked deepening anger in Pakistan.
