News Desk: Breaking News! The telecom regulator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) said the mobile users in India will have the mobile number portability (MNP) from October 31.  After a long wait, MNP will be implemented by its scheduled deadline.

BSNL is ready to meet with the infrastructure to start MNP, even though, MNP implementation has been deferred four times earlier, said Gopal Das, officiating chairman and managing director of BSNL.

As per the MNp service, the users will be allowed to retain their mobile numbers even if they switch their operators. The MNP was to be implemented first in all the metros along with the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu by December 31, 2009. But the service went through delay as operators were not ready with the infrastructure to provide MNP.

However, the US-based Telcordia Technologies could be hurdle in the MNP implementation in India. The reports said that the company can move to court to protect its MNP business ambition through joint venture MNP Interconnection, after Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) rejected its proposal for security reason.

News Desk: While researchers believe tawa-tawa leaves also called gatas-gatas leaves can be effective to cure dengue fever, new study claims Papaya leaves help dengue fever patients recover from their illness.

According to study done by Dr. Sanath Hettige in Sri Lanka, papaya leaf juice helps increase white blood cells and platelets, normalizes clotting in blood, and repairs the liver. These things are mainly affected by the dengue fever.

The study conducted on 70 dengue fever patients suggests that patient affected by Dengue should consume the papaya leaf juice in the first stage of the disease to get cured.

However, the Papaya leaf juice is not effective in the last stages of the dengue fever, because the organs in the patient are badly affected by the disease.
