The Hague, Oct 1: In order to stop Islamisation in Netherlands, now some anti-Islam MP's of Netherlands are planning to ban the burqa in the country.This comes as a part of a pact engineered by the newly elected minority coalition government in the country.
"A new wind will blow in Netherlands and there will be a burqa ban," declared Anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders, on Thursday, Sep 30, standing alongside the leaders of the pro-business VVD party and the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) that will form the minority government.
In addition to the measures agreed by the three parties, the number of immigrants who enter Netherlands will be halved, Wilders added.
Wilders, who campaigns for a ban on Muslim immigration and wants to end the building of new mosques and tax Muslim head scarves, had a say in the plan's immigration policies in return for supporting its austerity measures.
