Koran burning threat :  Christians attacked near Indonesia church

BEKASI: The police said assailants on motorcycles stabbed a Christian in the stomach and pounded a minister in the head with a plank near a former church outside Jakarta Sunday.

Suspicion fell on Islamic hardliners who warned members of the Batak Christian Protestant Church against worshipping on a field housing their now-shuttered church. Leading the charge against Christians has been the Islamic Defenders Front. AP (indianexpress)
