India today beat Pakistan 7-4 in front of home crowd at the Major Dhyan Chand stadium in Delhi, thereby ensuring a place in the semi-finals of the mens hockey event at the Commonwealth Games. Enthralling the home crowd with a display of attacking hockey coach Jose Brasa's team showed aggression from the word go. Gaining 8 penalty corners in the first half itself, India did manage to convert a few, which was heartening to see considering this has been a weakness in the recent games. Being a must win game for the hosts, they took the game to the Pakistanis and passed the test with flying colors
