Khushboo

At last Khushboo makes it out. The victory is all hers. Remember she was in the headlines sometime before for making a very controversial statement regarding sex before marriage. Khushboo opined in her speech that there is nothing nothing in pre-marital sex. And guess what all the people stood against her and her comments. They even destroyed their built temple for her. But now all has come in vain. She has won the case.

Buzz up!

The court said that there is nothing wrong if two adults live together. “When two adult people want to live together, what is the offence? Does it amount to an offence? Living together is not an offence. It cannot be an offence," said the bench comprising chief justice KG Balakrishnan, justice Deepak Verma, and justice BS Chauhan. The Supreme Court made the statement while reserving its judgment on a special leave petiton filed by Khushboo, on seeking to quash 22 criminal cases filed against her after she allegedly endorsed pre-maritial sex in 2005.

The court adding on said that the views expressed by Khushboo were personal. And that no one has the right to question the personal thinking of a person. The court further asked the complainants to produce evidence to show if any girls had eloped from their family after the statement. Khushboo had approached the Supreme Court after the Madras High Court in 2008 dismissed her plea to quash the criminal cases filed against her.
