Police arrest naked man banging on doors

A 23-year-old man was arrested in Surprise after disrupting a neighborhood while naked.
William Hughes was arrested Oct. 29 in the 15800 block of West Gelding Drive at 8 a.m. He was naked and yelling, banging on doors of at least four homes, Surprise Police Sgt. Mark Ortega said.
Police arrived and took him to Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center where he was found to have amphetamines and marijuana in his system, Ortega said.
After being released from the center, Hughes was taken to 4th Avenue Jail.
Because minors were in some of the homes, Hughes was booked on two felony counts of indecent exposure. He was also booked on four misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure and six counts of disorderly conduct.
