Eight bodies found dumped in Pakistan field

Islamabad, April 18 (IANS) 


The bodies of eight men were found dumped in a field in Pakistan's Punjab province.


Four bodies were placed at one spot in the agricultural field in Attock town while the rest were barely a few yards away. Some of the bodies were semi-naked, Dawn reported Monday.
A passer-by noticed the bodies and raised an alarm. Apparently, the men were killed elsewhere and dumped there at night.


A police official said the men were not locals and were probably killed two days ago.


Abbas, a doctor, said the killings did not look like a terror act.


Post-mortem examination of two of the bodies revealed that they were strangulated.
