Married People might soon be a minority in the US!
Recent census data shows that only 51% of US adults are currently married. The Pew Research Center discovered that, soon, married adults will be a minority in the US!
Some interesting statistics with this trend: the average age for first marriage has risen by 6 years among males and females. Women went from a median age of 20.3 years to 26.5 and men went from 22.8 to 28.7!
When you look at the demographic data, it becomes clear that the trend will only increase: the percentage of young people married has dropped from 59% to only 20%.
