"Corruption in judiciary is a very sad state of affairs and we are of the opinion that judiciary should not be brought under lokpal. The Constitution has given a special place for judiciary and that should not be disturbed. We demand that a Judical Accountability Bill has to be brought and passed," he (Bardhan) said.

Cabinet members corrupt. Politicians corrupt. judiciary corrupt. CBI /Police corrupt. The whole bureaucracy corrupt. !!! What guarantee is there Lokpal will not be corrupt? Who will select pure, clean Lokpal? Corrupt people? I don't find any such pure clean people in the South? Are there some in the North, East or West? Or, do they propose to bring Martians to be the Lokpal? Who will police a corrupt Lokpal?
Don't forget to include office peons also under Lokpal. I have seen some very corrupt ones. (It is they who often act as middlemen and binamis for the bigshots) Lokpal should be really a big big institution, a world wonder. I am dreaming about the paradise under the Jana Lokpal.
