Sitapur: Dalit girl set on fire for resisting rape


Sitapur:  A shocking case has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur district where a Class XII Dalit girl was burnt alive by men who tried to rape her.
Her father claims she was burnt alive by five men from his village who had been teasing her for the last few days.
This morning, when the girl was alone at her house and getting ready to go to school the accused - Tillu, Billu, Ajay, Dharmendra and Tuiyan - entered the house and tried to rape her.

When she resisted they poured kerosene on her and set her on fire. 

She has been admitted to the district hospital with 90 per cent burns. Her condition is critical.

However, no FIR has been lodged so far.
