Mumbai: At Bandra- Kurla Complex a day after a nurse who is 22-years-old from the Asian Heart Hospital committed suicide, so for this today strike was held by the nursing staffs alleging harassment by the authorities.
Deepu who is a staff nurse said by the hospital authorities the victim Beena Bebi was continuously harassed. Not only for her were even other nurse also met with the same treatment. So the authorities should take all the response for her death and should transport her body to her native place Kerala.
WE need our original certificates back from the hospital management and they are refusing to give our original certificates back and if we are asking for our certificate they are asking us to pay Rs 50,000 as a rule and in this regard the Supreme Court has also send a order to return back our certificates to the authorities of the Hospital.
Deepu also said that no one of the doctors are supporting for us in the strike and they all are supporting for the hospital and so that all the nursing staffs are in strike from 7.00 pm.
