TWO Libyan rebels enjoy a rare taste of luxury after storming a palace in Colonel Gaddafi’s stronghold at Sirte.

Clutching an AK47 rifle, one of the fighters flashes a grin at his comrade as he makes a victory sign while stretched out on the comfortable bed.

The pair can be forgiven for making the most of such salubrious surroundings after a gruelling battle to capture Gaddafi’s home town.

Forces loyal to the ousted dictator continue to repel the attacks.
