Chennai Corporation Seizes 11.5 Tonnes Of Artificially Ripened Fruits


The Health division of the Chennai Corporation carried out raids in city's different regions and detained 11.5 tonnes of mangoes ripened by making use of calcium carbide.

As per reports, the team also seized 500 kg of papayas.

They also raided godowns situated at Royapettah and seized 600 kg of fruits.
