Subject: Join me in the fight against corruption

Hi,

Aid money should be well spent, and any scope for corruption and inefficiency stamped out. One of the best ways to do this doesn't cost a thing: transparency. It shines a light in murky places where sometimes-sleepy officials doze in the dark, and corruption can go unnoticed. This way people everywhere can track the flow of precious funds to ensure they are put to the best use possible – vaccinating kids, building roads, and getting children into school.

Join me in calling on Italy, Portugal, Austria, and Japan - the aid donors who are the worst on transparency - to shape up and publish the details of all the aid they give.

The more of us that act, the greater our chances will be of making a real difference in the fight against corruption.

Thanks,
