Car bomb kills at least 3, wounds 20 in Iraq

Feb 10 (Reuters) - A car bomb exploded near a group of Shi'ite pilgrims heading to the Iraqi city of Samarra for a religious event, killing three people and wounding 20, a police source said on Thursday.

The blast occurred near the town of Dujail on the main road to Samarra, 100 km (62 miles) north of Baghdad, the source in the police operations centre in Tikrit said.

Another police source put the toll at four dead and 23 wounded and said the explosion had set at least eight cars ablaze. (Reporting by Sabah al-Bazi in Tikrit; Writing by Jim Loney)
