Famed adult film star to debate pornography at Bothell church

BOTHELL, Wash. -- Porn meets the pulpit in Bothell Saturday night in a debate rarely heard in a church.
It will be the raunchy versus the righteous at Eastlake Community Church when prolific pornographer Ron Jeremy debates the founder of XXX Church, Pastor Craig Gross, a church that aims to rid Americans of the addiction to porn.
"Unless you give both sides an opportunity to speak, I don't think it's an open dialog at all," said Pastor Ryan Meeks, from Eastlake Community Church. "It ends up being more like propaganda."
Jeremy and Gross have debated before on college campuses, but this is the first time a church in Washington state has ever hosted this event.
"I think there are gonna be a lot of fans of Ron here on Saturday night!" said Meeks.
Other discussions will be held for men, women and teens throughout the weekend.
